Something new is coming to the clubhouse — and we will be the only venue in Crawley with it

Interactive darts boards are coming to the Crawley RFC clubhouse. The boards have been delivered and installation is being sorted. We will be the only venue in Crawley to have them.

The 1st XV are doing Tilgate Parkrun. Anyone is welcome to join them.

Several of our senior players have been heading to Tilgate Parkrun on Saturday mornings as part of pre-season fitness. It is free, there is no pressure, and you do not need to play rugby to join them.

Comedy on the Pitch — 11th July — cheaper if you are one of ours

Crawley Comedy Club is taking the show outside on 11th July. Tickets are £20 on the door, but RFC members get them for £15. A summer evening, the bar open, and proper live comedy on the pitch.

Recruitment, all year round

Never played rugby? Perfect.

Half of our senior squad picked the game up as adults. Some had never seen a match before they came down. We coach from zero. We teach the tackle. We share a pint at the end. You don't need anything except some trainers and a willingness to turn up.

If you'd rather just watch first, do that. The clubhouse is open. The bar is reasonable. Nobody will ask you anything you'd rather not answer.

Being part of a club is good for your head. We're not therapists. But we are people, and we'd like to be your people.

The journey is real. Members start in any of these stages, and most adults join us at the Senior XVs without ever having played before.
