Crawley Comedy Club is doing something different this summer.
On Friday 11th July, they are taking the show outside. Comedy on the Pitch is exactly what it sounds like — stand-up comedy, at Willoughby Fields, in the summer evening air, with the bar open and the RFC clubhouse doing what it does best.
Tickets are £20 via the usual Crawley Comedy Club channels. But if you are a Crawley RFC member — playing member, social member, does not matter — you get them for £15. Just mention your membership at the door or use the code CRAWLEY when booking.
Crawley Comedy Club has been running at the RFC for years and has developed a proper reputation for booking acts who are actually funny. This is a summer special and there are limited spaces — outdoor events like this sell out faster than the usual nights, and last year's summer event was gone in under a week.
It is a great evening whether you know anything about rugby or not. Bring your partner, a group of friends, whoever. The bar will be running a summer drinks menu and the lawn will be set up properly for the evening.
