School holidays sorted — Minis pre-season kicks off 5th July

Kids off school and climbing the walls already? We feel your pain.
Crawley RFC Minis pre-season gets underway on Saturday 5th July, and all of our age groups from U6 through to U11 will be back on the pitch from 10am.
No experience required. We genuinely mean that — some of the kids who have gone on to become the backbone of our Minis section walked onto that pitch for the first time having never even watched a rugby match. A month later they had friends they could not stop talking about.
Rugby at this age is not about the game. It is about learning to work together, handling a bit of mud and a knock without falling apart, and belonging to something bigger than yourself. We have coaches who understand that not every child is a natural athlete, and who take genuine pride in finding the version of each kid that the classroom does not always show.
Sessions run every Saturday morning throughout the summer. We will pause for a couple of weeks around the bank holidays but the schedule will be updated here and via the usual channels.
If you are curious, just turn up at Willoughby Fields for a look. Let your child watch from the sidelines first if they are nervous. Nine times out of ten they will be on the pitch by the second week.
